Call of the Wild 3D is out on DVD!


Call of the Wild 3D is available at Walmart as of December 22, 2009

A modern-day adaptation of Jack London's classic follows Ryann (Ariel Gade) a 9-year old girl visiting her grandfather (Christopher Lloyd) in Montana. When a wild hybrid wolf/dog shows up injured on the back porch one night, Ryann wants to take him back to Boston as a pet, but her grandfather knows the animal will eventually have to return to the wild. To help his granddaughter understand, he begins to read her Jack London's "Call Of The Wild" each night... but Ryann has ideas of her own, and helps a local boy train the magnificent animal to become a sled dog leader.

Jason giving a lecture about Stereoscopic 3D at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn


We made a little trip to Brooklyn last week to visit the department of Film, Video and Photography at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Professor Ramzy Telley invited Jason to give a lecture on Stereoscopic 3D live action filming techniques to a class of graduate students.

Interview with Ray Zone and Lenny Lipton at The World 3D Film Expo II in 3D!


21st Century 3D has posted an interview with Ray zone and Lenny Lipton, two most significant figures for the development of today's digital 3D technology. It was filmed in 2006 at The World 3D Film Expo II in Hollywood in 3D by Jason Goodman, CEO of 21st Century 3D.
They tackle some of the most interesting questions about stereoscopic 3D that are still a subject of heated debate among stereographers. Get your glasses ready!

Call of the Wild 3D trailer now available online on YouTube 3D


First independent, stereoscopic 3D feature film released in the US. It was shot entirely on stereoscopic rigs designed and built by 21st Century 3D.

For his role on this production Jason Goodman was recognized as a Stereographer on a theatrically released feature film by the Director’s Guild of America.

This was the first time in Hollywood history that DGA recognized stereographer's title.

Jason is invited to speak at 3D Stereo Media conference in Liège, Belgium.


Jason Goodman is founder and CEO of 21st Century 3D and inventor of numerous stereoscopic camera systems. Goodman is the first person in Hollywood history to be recognized by the Director’s Guild of America as a Stereographer on a theatrically released feature film. 21st Century 3D is an industry leader in the area of live action and animated stereoscopic content creation and technology development. Over the past 16 years, 21st Century 3D has designed and built 3D camera systems and developed exclusive technologies including the 3DVX line of cameras and BX3 optical beam splitter. Most recently Jason was the Director of Photography on the stereoscopic thriller Julia X, shot with RED ONE digital cinema cameras.
